Tera Marketplace Ltd ("Tera", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17209195). We operate meettera.com — a global wellness marketplace connecting practitioners, retreat hosts, venue owners, and clients.

2. What Data We Collect
All users:
- Full name and email address
- Password (encrypted — we never store plain text passwords)
- Location (city and country)
- Account type and role
- Profile photo (if uploaded)
- Device and usage data (browser type, pages visited, session duration)
- IP address
Practitioners and retreat hosts:
- Bio and professional description
- Healing modalities and practice details
- Qualifications and credentials
- Years of experience and professional insurance status
- Session types, pricing, and availability
- Languages spoken
- Booking history and earnings data (once payment processing is active)
Retreat hosts (additional):
- Retreat titles, descriptions, dates, and pricing
- Venue and location details
- Accommodation and meals information
- Cancellation policies
Venue and space owners:
- Space name, address, and description
- Amenities, capacity, and pricing
- Atmosphere and modality descriptions
- Photo galleries
Clients:
- Booking history and session records
- Wellness journey log (sessions attended, retreat history)
- Reviews and ratings submitted
- Payment data (processed and held by Stripe — we do not store card details)
Special category data:
Some information you share on Tera — such as health conditions, wellness goals, or healing modalities — may constitute special category data under UK GDPR Article 9. We only process this data with your explicit consent, which you give when you create an account and complete your profile.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

4. Special Category Data
Health and wellness information you share on Tera — including healing modalities you practise or seek, session history, and wellness journey data — may be considered special category data under UK GDPR Article 9.
By creating an account and completing your profile, you explicitly consent to us processing this data for the purpose of operating the marketplace and matching you with relevant practitioners, experiences, and venues.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting us at hello@meettera.com. Please note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide our services to you.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We share data only where necessary to operate the platform:
- Stripe — payment processing. When you make or receive payments through Tera, your payment data is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase — our database and infrastructure provider. Your data is stored securely on Supabase's servers.
- Vercel — our hosting and deployment provider.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, notifications).
All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with UK GDPR.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
6. International Transfers
Some of our service providers (including Supabase and Vercel) may process your data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the relevant authorities.

10. Children
Tera is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at hello@meettera.com and we will delete the account immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
