Frequently asked questions
What is sound healing?+
Sound healing is a gentle, immersive well-being practice that uses soothing sounds and vibrations from instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and gongs to encourage relaxation and calm. Many people attend sessions to create space for rest, reflection, and nervous system regulation.
Do I need previous experience?+
No experience with meditation, mindfulness, yoga, or sound healing is required. You are welcome exactly as you are.
What happens during a session?+
Sessions usually begin with a brief grounding practice before you are invited to relax comfortably while listening to the sounds of the instruments. Session usually finishes with a grounding practice.
What if I can’t relax?+
That is completely okay. Many people arrive feeling busy, distracted, stressed, or overwhelmed. There’s no expectation that you relax in a particular way. Simply allowing yourself to be still and present usually supports a sense of calm..
What might I experience during a session?+
Everyone’s experience is different. Some people may feel deeply relaxed, while others notice a sense of calm, clarity, emotional release, or simply an opportunity to rest. Some people even experience going into a deep meditative state during a session.
