Sound Healing
Nuru memberSound healing uses the vibrations of instruments — singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, drums, voice — to shift the body and mind into states of deep rest and healing. Sound works at a cellular level, entraining brainwaves and releasing physical and emotional tension.
Cultural origin
Ancient healing traditions across Tibet, India, Egypt, indigenous Americas, and Africa all used sound as medicine. Modern sound healing draws on these traditions alongside contemporary understanding of vibration and the nervous system.
What a session involves
In a sound bath, recipients lie down fully clothed while the practitioner plays instruments around and sometimes on the body. Sessions last 45–90 minutes. One-to-one sessions may also include tuning forks applied directly to the body.
Who it's for
Anyone seeking deep relaxation, stress relief, or energetic clearing. Particularly effective for anxiety, insomnia, and emotional processing.
