Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is a gentle moving meditation that cultivates and balances the body's vital energy (qi) through slow movements, breathwork, and intention. It is both a healing practice and a spiritual discipline.

Cultural origin

China — part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoist philosophy. Practised for over 4,000 years.

What a session involves

Sessions involve guided slow movements, standing or seated postures, breathwork, and sometimes visualisation. Sessions range from 30–60 minutes and are suitable for all fitness levels.
