Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is a method of re-educating the body's habitual patterns of tension and movement. It teaches you to move with greater ease, reducing strain on the musculoskeletal system and improving overall wellbeing.

Cultural origin

Developed by Frederick Matthias Alexander, an Australian actor, in the late 19th century.

What a session involves

Individual sessions with a certified teacher who uses gentle hands-on guidance and verbal instruction to help you become aware of and change habitual movement patterns. 45–60 minutes.

Who it's for

Anyone with back pain, neck tension, performance anxiety, or those seeking improved posture and ease of movement. Widely used by musicians, actors, and performing artists.
