There's a particular kind of tired that isn't about hours. It's about the mind that won't stop. The body that won't settle. The 3am wide-awakeness that makes no sense given how exhausted you were at 10pm. We asked practitioners on Tera what they actually reach for on the nights sleep doesn't come easily. Not clinical advice. Just what genuinely helps.
Scent, before anything else. A few drops on a pillow or in a diffuser is the first thing several practitioners mentioned. Not as a cure. Just as a signal to the body that the day is closing.
What the body's actually missing. Magnesium came up more than anything else in our conversations with practitioners. It's the nutrient most commonly depleted by stress, and most commonly under-replaced.
For the mind that won't switch off. A different kind of support. Not a nutrient, a blend. Worn rather than swallowed. Several practitioners mentioned turning to something like this on the nights stress itself is the obstacle, not just sleeplessness.
Rest, protected. No product here. Just the thing every practitioner said unprompted: put the phone in another room. Sounds obvious. Almost nobody does it consistently.
Sometimes sleep struggles are tangled up with something deeper. Anxiety. Grief. A nervous system that won't switch off. Several somatic and breathwork practitioners on Tera build sessions specifically around this.
